The Metal Tiles category
can include any texture or pattern that can be made on some
composite board materials. The substrate can then be sprayed with a
number of different varieties of metals. We predominantly use
silicon bronze, copper, brass, aluminum bronze, zinc and aluminum.
This is because of their longevity and ability to react with various
patinas which introduce pleasing color and properties of
reflectivity to the end surface.
The following photos show some of the
possibilities which seem endless. We can shape these composites in a
variety of ways (as mentioned in Signs & Plaques), in almost any size
panels up to 48” x 96”. Custom patterns can be made. And other
materials such as wood, stone and glass can be combined with the
metal surfaces.
We suggest that some appropriate uses for metal
tiles might be: in elevator cabs, as kitchen or bath splashboards,
shower enclosures, stove or fireplace surrounds, lobby and entry
wall & trim.
